We felt certain that consumers would welcome a new meatball to the market, not just another ho-hum meatball, but a “great meatball” Arriving at the “great meatball” was no easy feat. After working and reworking our recipe in our test kitchen for about a year, not only did we eat a lot of meatballs, but we finally achieved our goal. It was important to us that we create a novel meatball . . . one that actually tasted like . . . an authentic meatball. Heeding the downfalls of frozen meatballs past, we concentrated our efforts on maintaining great taste and texture. It became clear that the answer lied in the ingredients. By using top quality meatball ingredients, such as 100% beef, Parmesan cheese, and real breadcrumbs, we created, not only a phenomenal tasting meatball but a healthier version than our competitors. Limiting extraneous ingredients, the Great Meatball Company’s meatballs yield higher proteins and lower carbohydrates. We only use 100% fresh beef. Our beef is never frozen or stock piled and it is used within days of receipt to ensure the best tasting and healthiest meatballs in the food industry. Because of our requirement in freshness, our pricing will adjust with the current beef market. Keep this in mind if you are trying to compare us with others. Can Meatballs Be Innovative? Absolutely! We believe meatballs can be used just about anywhere. Besides the standard Italian or Swedish meatballs we offer, we now have meatball slices. We find a slice of meatball is easier to use when making pizzas, quesadillas, or nachos.
